Private Sector Workplace Injuries and Illnesses for 2021 and 2022
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics issued its latest report on private sector workplace injuries and illnesses for 2021 and 2022. Private industry employers reported 2.8 million nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses in 2022, up 7.5% from 2021, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. This increase is driven by the rise in both injuries, up 4.5% to 2.3 million cases, and illnesses up 26.1% to 460,700 cases.
